Does the camera support motion detect?Yes, it support motion detect, and can send email with snap to you. Save snap image and video to FTP.Note: by default, sanp image and video save to TF storage, if you don't have TF storage, it will also works for snap and video. The snapped image and video will save to RAM first, then send to email, upload to FTP server. As RAM resource is limited, the video will split into pieces about 1MB per file.It's better to use TF extension board.
Is IR-CUT dual filter switch necessary?IR-CUT dual filter switch has two filters, one is IR CUT filter not allow IR light to pass (normally >650nm wavelength), the other is AR filter that all light can pass.It depends on working conditions, for night using only, no need to use IR-CUT dual filter switch.For day and night all day using, you should use IR-CUT dual filter switch.For day using, or some lens with very short back focal length, can paste IR-CUT filter glass to sensor or the end of lens.
